Holiday Street Market, Light Up the Square run Saturday

Downtown Mississauga will be action-packed Saturday, starting at noon with the city’s first Holiday Street Market on Celebration Square.
Running until 11 p.m., the event, at 300 City Centre Dr., is featuring artisan vendors selling one-of-a-kind goods, as well as food trucks and games.
City Centre will be glowing come evening amidst the first Christmas tree lighting of the season, known as Light Up the Square.
The annual event will boast family-friendly Christmas activities, such as carousel rides, an elves agility course, and skating.
Santa Claus will be making an appearance, as will pop singer Stella Rio.
The event starts at 5 p.m.

7:15 p.m.      Family programming, such as carousel rides, photos with Santa and skating on the Square.
