A 53-year-old man has died from injuries suffered during a vicious beatdown behind the Westwood Mall, and the homicide squad is investigating the region’s 11th murder.

Police are hunting suspects, who fled on foot, and looking for witnesses.

The victim was attacked Thursday around 7:30 p.m. in the Morning Star and Goreway Drs. area, cops said.

Paramedics treated the critically injured man, who was taken to a local hospital then transferred to a Toronto trauma centre.
