Three Toronto residents are facing drug-related charges after a sweep by Peel police at two Toronto homes netted narcotics worth almost $57,000 on the street .
A pair of women and a man were arrested after cops executed search warrants at two locations, seizing drugs, cash, and a Smith and Wesson handgun.
Preston Kowalchuk, 37, was arrested Oct. 29 by the street crime gang unit.
Police allege the man was in possession of cocaine, with an estimated street value of $11,090, and $2,500 in Canadian and U. S. currency.
The next day, investigators searched the man’s Etobicoke home on Brookers Lane, near Lake Shore Blvd. W. and Park Lawn Rd., finding cocaine, ecstasy, psilocybin and miscellaneous pills pegged at $18,536 on the street. The drugs were seized, along with $6,630 in Canadian and U.S. cash, the gun, and ammunition.
A second search took place at a residence on Kingsview Blvd., near Dixon Rd. and Kipling Ave. in Toronto, with police seizing $27,150 in cocaine and heroin.
Kowalchuk was charged with 13 drug and weapons offences. His bail hearing was on Oct. 30 at the Brampton courthouse.

Kathlyn Panter, 31, is facing a possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine charge. Her scheduled court date is Dec. 3.
Natalie Drysdelle, 30, is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, and one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking – heroin and is also slated to appear in court Dec. 3.
