A girl is in police custody in connection with a robbery at a hotel near the airport Monday morning.
Police responded to a call at 7:04 a.m. for a disturbance at the Best Western at 5825 Dixie Rd. in Mississauga, just north of Hwy. 401.
There was “no indication of weapons,” said Peel Regional Police Const. Lori Murphy.
One person was injured and treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
Suspects are still outstanding and police are questioning the young offender, whose identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, to determine her alleged role. Anyone with information can call police at (905) 453-2121 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477.
