A man is in the trauma unit with serious injuries after he was struck by a vehicle while walking in east Mississauga Tuesday evening.
Investigators are still trying to determine the victim’s age and more details about him, said Peel Police Const. Bally Saini.
Police and paramedics rushed to the scene at Rathburn and Tomken roads around 7:40 p.m.
The man was treated by medics and transported to hospital, and a portion of the intersection remained closed for four hours.
The driver remained at the scene and the major collision bureau is investigating.
