A police dog tracked down a suspect hiding in a dumpster after two transport trucks were stolen in Mississauga Saturday morning.
Peel Police found the man in an industrial area within the city after responding to the theft around 11 a.m. at Britannia Rd. and Wallace St., near Hwy. 401 and Hurontario St.
Two suspects were immediately arrested in connection with the heist, as police hunted the third, described as an East Indian male wearing a black leather jacket and blue jeans.
“Police are still investigating and charges would be pending,” said Const. Rachel Gibbs.
The trucks had no trailers attached.
