A 44-year-old Mississauga man remained in hospital Monday – upgraded to stable condition – after he was hit by a vehicle in Cooksville Sunday.
Peel Police responded to a call around 6:23 p.m. at Dundas St. and Confederation Pkwy., slightly west of Hurontario St., where the pedestrian was attempting to cross just east of the intersection.
Paramedics treated and transported the victim to a Toronto trauma unit.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.
The major collision bureau is investigating.
