Fun, free Family Day events across Mississauga

Lace up those skates and hit the ice at Celebration Square.
A Family Day event is taking place in downtown Mississauga from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. Monday.
Activities include arts and crafts, buskers, face painting, and an interactive musical bike. Former Toronto Maple Leafs’ hockey player Dave Ellett will be there until 1:30 p.m.
A snow day is also being held at Clarkson’s Benares Historic House from noon to 4 p.m. with crafts, exhibitions, and games.
Free swimming and skating at community centres can be found by visiting mississauga.ca/familyday for locations and schedules.


REMINDERS

  • Libraries will be closed Feb. 14-15
  • City offices reopen Tuesday
  • MiWay will operate on a Sunday/holiday schedule on February 15.
  • Animal Services will be closed on Monday, February 15. Officers will be on standby for emergencies and can be reached at 905-615-3000.
