A 19-year-old Mississauga man is in custody Sunday evening and he’s facing a first-degree murder charge in connection with the stabbing death of a man on Webb. Dr.
An arrest warrant was issued for Mohamed Nasr Sunday and within hours, he turned himself in, say Peel Police.
Nasr is accused of killing Hamza Lamadani, 19, of Mississauga on Saturday.
First responders received a call at 2:12 p.m. from a home on Harrowsmith Dr., in the Hwy. 403 and Confederation Pkwy. area, reporting an unconscious man who had been stabbed.
Officers arrived, finding the man with obvious signs of trauma.
Paramedics treated the man, rushing him to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
It turns out the man had been stabbed during an earlier altercation about 2 kms away at 400 Webb Dr., however, it’s unclear how he wound up on Harrowsmith Dr.
Anyone with information is asked to phone (905) 453-2121 ext. 3205 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477.
