A Mississauga woman in her mid-forties is dead after being struck by a vehicle Monday night.
“The driver stayed on scene,” said Peel Regional Police Const. George Tudos.
Emergency crews responded to a call at 8:38 p.m. at Dundas St. E. and Hensall Circle, slightly west of Cawthra Rd.
The pedestrian was hit by an Audi while crossing the street.
Peel Paramedics confirmed attending the scene and didn’t transport the victim to hospital.
Charges are pending.
