Police looking for gunman, witnesses in City Centre shooting

Witnesses are asked to come forward following a shooting near Square One which sent a 30-year-old man to a Toronto trauma centre.
Peel Police say a man was shot around 7:55 p.m. Monday.
The victim, a Toronto man, was exiting Ruth’s Chris Steak House at City Centre Dr. and Kariya Gate when he was approached by the suspect who fired.
Paramedics transported the victim to Sunnybrook Hospital in serious but stable condition. He was treated and released.

The suspect is a black man standing 5-foot-9, wearing all black, who fled in a grey vehicle.
Investigators are calling the shooting an isolated incident, however, police say the suspect is armed and dangerous, and should not be approached.
