Tweens and teens tired of chasing Pikachu can channel their gaming energy at Dixie Outlet Mall.
That’s where the VR Adventure Lounge is being set up, next to Ardene, starting Aug. 12 until Sept. 4.
“We are very excited to introduce this innovative and interactive technology to our customers,” said marketing director Cristina Avila.
“This back-to-school lounge is like nothing we’ve ever done before.”
In addition, three Xbox Kinect systems, Wi-Fi, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are also being offered.
Admission is free in exchange for a non-perishable donation to the Mississauga Food Bank, focusing on healthy snacks and lunch items for kids this fall.
Entrance into the lounge is on a first-come, first-serve basis with reservations made using an iPad check-in kiosk.
The green entrance is closest to the gaming setup.
