Three people are in custody – including a teen who was stabbed – after a dispute at a Meadowvale motel landed a girl in hospital Monday.
“A big fight resulted in everybody sustaining some injuries — all minor,” said Peel Police Const. Rachel Gibbs.
Officers were dispatched at 12:55 p.m. to the Motel 6 at Winston Churchill Blvd. and Argentia Rd., complete with tactical and canine units.
The victim was stabbed with a knife in the lower leg.
Paramedics treated the girl before transporting her to local hospital.
The victim is in stable condition, said Peel Police Const. Mark Fischer.
Officers arrested a 17-year-old Toronto girl, a 17-year-old Mississauga boy, and a 15-year-old Mississauga girl.
Their names are protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Charges are pending.
