A purse containing potentially fatal prescription medication has been stolen in the Lakeview area, prompting Toronto Police to issue a warning to the public.
The theft took place Aug. 8 around 6 p.m. near Marie Curtis Park.
The bag had morphine 100 mg (40 tablets); Statex 50 mg (50 tablets); Oxy-Neo 40 mg (40 tablets).
The medication is especially dangerous if ingested by children, say police.
