A gunman is on the run following a shooting at an east Mississauga nightclub in which one bullet sent two victims to hospital early Sunday.
Witnesses have spoken with officers but “the more the merrier,” said Peel Regional Police Const. Mark Fischer.
First responders were sent to Sugar Daddy’s, at Dixie Rd. and Aimco Blvd. at 2:13 a.m.
The victims were shot following a confrontation inside the club, where a weekly Turn It Up Saturdays event was being held.
The club was evacuated as police secured the scene.
The men were transported to hospital by paramedics.
A 37-year-old Brampton man is in a Toronto trauma unit in stable condition.
A 33-year-old Mississauga man, struck first, was just grazed by the bullet.
The suspect is an Hispanic man in his mid-twenties. He was wearing a jean jacket, white T-shirt, and jeans.
Anyone with information is asked to call (905) 453-2121 ext. 1233 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477.
