Weekday rush hour service is getting a boost starting Sept. 5 on two Mississauga Transitway Routes.
Route 107–Malton Express will see nine weekday rush hour trips added, in addition to extended late night service, while Route 109–Meadowvale Express is getting nine weekday rush hour trips.
In addition, early morning Saturday trips are being added to Routes 5, 7, 19, 35, 42, 66.
Early Sunday trips will benefit riders on Routes 7, 20, 26, 34, 66, 110.
“The added trips means less waiting and helps us deliver on the benefits of the MiWay Five Transit Service Plan, such as more express service between key destinations, more frequent services on main corridors, and wider spans of service,” said director of transit Geoff Marinoff in a news release.
MiWay Five is five-year service plan moving Mississauga’s transit system to a grid network.
