An intoxicated intruder suspected of trying to assault a woman in her Erindale-area bedroom is on the run Sunday.
Police dogs “did come out, but no success,” said Peel Regional Police Const. Mark Fischer.
The victim woke up to find a man in her bedroom near the Credit Woodlands and McBride Ave. around 6:35 a.m.
The suspect fled, and the woman phoned 911.
The man is described as white, standing six-feet, weighing 210 pounds. He was wearing black sweatpants and black shoes with gold detail.
Anyone with information is asked to phone the 11 Division criminal investigation bureau at (905) 453-2121 ext. 1133 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477.
