A man is facing charges for allegedly stealing a car in Toronto then later committing robbery and theft in Lakeview and Meadowvale.
Peel police say a Dodge Avenger – stolen from a Toronto home – was located Nov. 15 at 1:50 p.m. near Dundas St. E. and Stanfield Rd.
Officers arrested a man entering the front seat.
Police believe the suspect is linked to two incidents in Mississauga: an Oct. 22 robbery near Lakeshore Rd. and Cawthra Rd., and a May 22 theft from a business on Argentia Rd.
Omar Shane Thomas, 32, of no fixed address, is charged with possession of property obtained by crime, break, enter and commit an indictable offence, robbery, and theft under $5,000.
