Two cars have been stolen in Mississauga – one at knifepoint – after the alleged victims were trying to sell their vehicles using online classified service Kijiji.
Peel police believe the incidents are linked.
The first case was reported in Park Royal at 6:20 p.m. Sunday along Truscott Dr., just west of Southdown Rd.
The victim and suspect agreed to meet about a green 2003 Honda Accord.
The seller went inside to grab ownership documents and when he came out, the car and suspect were gone.
The next case took place in the Loyola area near the Collegeway and Colonial Dr. at 9:50 p.m.

Two male suspects went to view a black 2003 Infiniti G35.
They allegedly pulled a knife and told the victim to get out of the car.
He complied.
No injuries were reported in either case.
A buy and sell zone opened at police headquarters last November to provide a safe place for online transactions, said Const. Mark Fischer, adding residents are reminded to be vigilant.

Neither vehicle has been recovered.
The suspect linked to both cases is South Asian, 20 to 30, standing 5-foot-9. He’s clean shaven with short hair and was wearing black jeans with a grey jacket. His accomplice in the Colonial carjacking is also South Asian, 20 to 30, with a ponytail and heavy build.
Anyone with information is asked to phone 11 Division’s criminal investigation bureau at 905-453-3311 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477.
