A man on a jet ski had a close call Friday morning after his watercraft malfunctioned east of the Lakefront Promenade Marina.
“He ended up getting back to shore,” said Peel Regional Police Const. Rachel Gibbs.
The marine unit got a call for a boat in distress on Lake Ontario around 10 a.m.
Cops found the man on shore in good health and said he had his safety equipment and life vest.
Turns out the water was a tad rough.
