Three men from Peel accused in Neeko Mitchell murder

Three men from Peel Region with alleged gang ties are facing serious charges in connection with a November 2013 execution in Etobicoke.

Neeko Mitchell, 25, was shot numerous times on Nov. 24 outside of the North Kipling Community Centre, near Kipling and Finch Aves., where dozens of people were attending a basketball tournament.

Three arrests were made today by Toronto Police’s homicide and guns and gangs units.

Jermaine Dunkley, 30, of Mississauga, is charged with first-degree murder, participation in the activities of a criminal organization, and instructing commission of offence for criminal organization.

Reshane Hayles-Wilson, 25, of Mississauga, is charged with participation in the activities of a criminal organization.

Sheldon Tingle, 34, of Brampton, is charged with first-degree murder and participation in the activities of a criminal organization.

All three are scheduled to appear in Toronto court Friday morning.
