Members of the public are welcome to witness the arrival of Prime-Minister designate Justin Trudeau at Rideau Hall before he is sworn in.
Governor General David Johnston will preside over the ceremony. Trudeau will be Canada’s 23rd prime minister.
The event takes place in the Rideau Hall ballroom on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 10:30 a.m.
Members of the public should be on the grounds of Rideau Hall by 9 a.m.
The swearing-in ceremony will be followed by an official photo of the Governor General with the newly sworn-in Prime Minister and ministers.
