Celebration Square is morphing into a winter wonderland today during Light Up the Square 2015.
The family-friendly event features a Square and Christmas tree lighting during an official ceremony with city councillors.
For ‘Frozen’ fans, there will be a ‘Let it Go’ sing-along, ferris wheel rides and photos with Santa.
If the ice stays frozen – Environment Canada is predicting a high of 6C – the rink will open for the season.
Ten food trucks will be on-site. The event, hosted by Carlos Bustamante from YTV’s The Zone, includes a performance by Canadian pop sensation, Andee.
The party runs from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at 300 City Centre Dr.
