Gun drawn during fight at Square One has police hunting suspect

BY KELLY ROCHE
A gun was pointed at a group of young men during a dispute at Mississauga’s busiest shopping centre and police want your help singling out a suspect.
“We know somebody can identify this person,” said Peel Regional Police Sgt. Matt Small.
The incident took place Sat. November 28 at 6:30 p.m. at Square One, in front of Shoppers Drug Mart, involving six young men — most in dark clothing, the majority with hoods up.
One of the young men pulled out a handgun and aimed it at the others – but didn’t fire – before fleeing the scene, said police.
“This is of great concern that a firearm would be pointed” in such a high-volume mall, said Small.
