A 34-year-old man called 911 after he was shot in the upper body Friday in a gang-riddled area just east of the Bramalea City Centre.
“We believe it’s an isolated incident and there’s no concern for public safety,” said Peel Regional Police Const. George Tudos.
Police were sent to Fleetwood St., off Clark Blvd, at 9:09 p.m. The man was injured in the main torso area.
Paramedics treated the man before taking him to a Brampton hospital where he’s listed in stable condition.
The suspects are on the loose. Police are working to find out if it’s gang-related.
