The robbery unit has taken over the investigation and police are still searching for suspects after a targeted home invasion in Port Credit sent two people to hospital Thursday.
“It doesn’t look like any arrests have been made yet,” Peel Regional Police Const. Bally Saini said late Thursday.
Earlier in the day, Const. Lori Murphy said the attack is “not random,” and the victims’ injuries are not life-threatening.
Police were on scene in the Mississauga Rd. and Lakeshore Rd. area.
The call came in at 1:27 p.m., with paramedics treating and transporting two patients to hospital, where they’re listed in serious condition.
Three suspects are white males in their thirties, wearing dark clothing. They were last seen around Shawnmarr Rd.
Anyone with information is asked to phone (905) 453-2121 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477.
