Man clinging to life after crash at Hurontario-Mineola

The Ministry of Labour is investigating after a man in his thirties was critically injured following a crash in Port Credit Friday.

An SUV and construction truck collided at 7:10 a.m. at Hurontario St. and Mineola Rd. E., just east of the Port Credit GO station.

The victim was transferred by Ornge air ambulance to a Toronto trauma unit.

The SUV driver remained at the scene, said Peel Regional Police Const. Rachel Gibbs.

The major collision bureau was on scene and Hurontario was closed for hours between Mineola and Eaglewood.
