An elderly woman remained in hospital Sunday in critical condition after she was struck by a vehicle.
Peel Police responded to a call at 5:17 p.m. for a pedestrian struck at Dixie and Rathburn roads on Saturday.
Paramedics treated the woman, 85, and transported her to a Toronto trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and the major collision bureau is investigating.
