A 17-year-old Mississauga boy is facing public mischief charges in connection with four incidents involving false 911 reports.

Peel Police allege a boy phoned emergency operators four times between Jan. 30 and Feb. 1, reporting a violent fight with weapons in Mississauga.
Officers, including the tactical unit, responded each time, only to discover it was a hoax.
The teen was arrested Feb. 1 and is facing four counts of public mischief.
The boy, who can’t be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is scheduled to appear in Brampton court Feb. 23.
Anyone with any information in relation to these incidents is asked to call (905) 453-2121 ext. 1133 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
