Marcin Bielski of Mississauga bought a lottery ticket on a whim.
He’s now $100,000 richer after playing the Feb. 3 Lotto 6/49 draw.
“I called my wife to tell her but she didn’t believe me,” said Bielski while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings after matching six of seven winning numbers on his Encore selection.
Health issues have prevented Marcin from working, and “this win is a gift,” he said.
Bielski said he’s planning to go back to school and will be setting up bank accounts for his children.
The winning ticket was purchased at Rama Market on Bostock Cres. in Park Royal.
