Police are investigating a case of mischief in Port Credit after the front door to Pizza Nostra was found shattered Saturday.
“Nothing was taken,” said Peel Regional Police Const. George Tudos.
Officers were on scene at 8:30 a.m. at 362 Lakeshore Rd. W., just west of Maple Ave.
“It’s not a break and enter,” Tudos added.
Co-owner Marco Grande, who lives in Clarkson, said he felt “a little disappointed” to see the damage but the pizzeria was still open for business as the glass was being replaced.
Pizza Nostra opened four months ago and Grande said his bestselling pie is the Canadian, with pepperoni, bacon, mushrooms, and a maple syrup drizzle.
