A jewellery store at Dixie Mall was held up at gunpoint Friday and police are searching for a woman who fled on foot.
“There was only one suspect,” said Peel Regional Police Const. Rachel Gibbs.
Police were sent to the South Service Rd. and Dixie Rd. outlet shopping centre at 6:13 p.m.
Property was taken and no injuries were reported.
The suspect is white, standing 5-foot-5, in her late 40s with long blond hair.
She was wearing a blk puffy jacket and grey toque.
The central robbery unit is investigating.
