Charges are pending against two people after a police officer was injured and cruisers were damaged in a chase involving a suspected stolen car.
Peel Police responded to a call for a disturbance on Sherwood Mills Blvd., near Eglinton Ave. W. and Creditview Rd., at 9:39 p.m. Monday.
Police tried stopping a vehicle at a house and the driver rammed into a cruiser — another officer in a second cruiser attempted to pin the car.
A woman suffered minor injuries, while an officer was treated at the scene for minor injuries and released.
A second car was involved in the tussle.
The 11 Division criminal investigation bureau has the file.
