
Witnesses are asked to help police identify a pair of suspects following a stabbing in central Mississauga.
The incident took place last Sunday before 11:40 a.m. in the Britannia Rd. and Joseph St. area, sending a 47-year-old man to hospital.
That’s when the victim was walking his dog near Riverview Park.
The victim crossed paths with a man and woman walking together and an argument between men took place, resulting in the victim being stabbed in the stomach.
Paramedics treated him and transported him to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The pair fled on foot.
The first suspect is described as male, Asian, standing 5-foot-2 with a slim build. He has short, black hair and was wearing a dark coat or hoodie and a black toque.
The female suspect is described as Asian, standing five-feet, also with a slim build, wearing a dark coat or hoodie.
Do not approach if you spot the suspects, police warn, and call 911.
