Mississauga man charged with drunk driving in Hwy. 400 crash

A Mississauga man is facing drunk driving charges in connection with a two-vehicle crash in Toronto.

OPP received call for a rear-end collision on Hwy. 400 near Finch Ave. at 4:39 p.m. Monday.
The driver accused of rear-ending a vehicle was arrested for impaired driving and taken to the Toronto OPP detachment for further investigation.
The man’s vehicle was impounded for seven days and his driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days.
Yuriy Podgorniak, 33, is charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood alcohol concentration over 80 mg.
He’s scheduled to appear at Old City Hall on June 2.
