Medication stolen from Dixie-Bloor home

A potentially lethal combination of prescription medication stolen from a Mississauga home has Peel Police issuing a public safety advisory.

Officers were notified of a backpack taken from the Dixie Rd. and Bloor St. E. area between noon and 9 p.m. Tuesday.
The backpack includes the following:
  • Ramipril (2.5 mgs, approximately 20 pills)
  • Brilinta (90 mgs, approximately 20 pills)
  • Crestor (5 mg, approximately 20 pills)
  • Methadone (8 bottles, 70 mls each)
Police are reminding the public to immediately report any unidentified substances.
If located, don’t touch the medication or ingest drugs unless they’ve been specifically prescribed to you by your doctor, say police.
