Charges are possible after a 70-year-old pedestrian was killed after she was struck in Lakeview Friday evening.
“It was not within a crosswalk,” said Peel Regional Police Const. Mark Fischer.
Emergency crews responded to a call at 8:47 p.m. on the south side of Lakeshore Rd. E. at Enola Ave, where the woman was pronounced dead on scene.

The driver is cooperating with police and he didn’t immediately appear to show signs of consuming alcohol, said Fischer.
