A coyote sighting outside of Dixie Mall had shoppers alerting police Monday evening.
Animal control was called in, said Peel Regional Police Const. Mark Fischer, adding the coyote was reportedly going up to people and cars around 9:30 p.m.
Reports of coyote sightings in urban areas increased across Mississauga in 2015 — so much so, the city was advising residents to keep close tabs on their pets.
Phone 311 if you see a coyote.
