Get your green thumb on this summer.
Credit Valley Conservation is holding free gardening workshops in Mississauga starting May 31.
“The workshops are a great way for homeowners to learn about ecological landscaping,” said deputy CAO and director of watershed transformation Mike Puddister.
“We provide homeowners with the information they need to create beautiful and sustainable landscapes.”

You can explore how to attract birds or butterflies, find the perfect shade tree or soak up rainwater. Pre-registration is required. Phone 905-670-1615 ext. 221 for more information.


NATURESCAPING

Learn how to garden with locally native trees, wildflowers and flowering shrubs that are right for your yard. Attendees can sign up to receive a free tree or shrub.

RAINSCAPING
Add beauty and interest to your yard while directing and soaking up rainwater with rain gardens, soakaways, rain barrels and more. Participants can win a rainbarrel.
