A 29-year-old Mississauga man is facing charges following an overnight stabbing in Streetsville.
Emergency crews responded to a domestic call at 3 a.m. at Britannia Rd. W. and Hogan Dr., just east of Erin Mills Pkwy. where the suspect and victim share a home.
The victim, a 53-year-old woman, is in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
“She’ll be released soon,” said Peel Police Const. George Tudos.
Anthony Ionadi is charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
He’s appearing in court Friday for a bail hearing.
