UPDATED: Farmers’ markets open this week in City Centre, Erin Mills

CORRECTION: The Port Credit Farmers’ Market opens June 4, not June 11.

Newly-picked food is on the menu this summer as the Lions Farmers’ Markets set up at Celebration Square starting Wednesday.

The weekly offering boasts a variety of Ontario-grown fruit, vegetables, wine, honey, baked goods, and preserves.
Keep in mind, the market isn’t running on July 13. The LFM, open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., packs up Oct. 26.
LFM opens its Sunday bazaar this weekend at 3 Robert Speck Pkwy. from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Across town, the Backyard Farm & Market near Erin Mills Town Centre opens Saturday, running from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the northeast corner of Erin Mills Pkwy. and Eglinton Ave.
Further south, the Port Credit Farmers’ Market also opens June 4 in the Elmwood Ave. parking lot, north of Lakeshore Rd. E.
