A 33-year-old Brampton man is in hospital with serious injuries after he was shot outside of a strip club near Pearson airport overnight.

“The shooting occurred outside of the establishment near a doorway,” said Peel Police Const. Rachel Gibbs.
Emergency crews responded to a call at 2:35 a.m. at the Midway Invader Club near Dixie Rd. & Derry Rd.
Paramedics treated the man for a gunshot wound before transporting him to a Toronto trauma unit.
The man’s injuries, initially deemed life-threatening, have been downgraded to serious, said Gibbs.
“He’s expected to make a full recovery,” she said.
The suspect is a light-skinned black male, standing about six-foot-two, wearing all black.
