A suspect accused of scamming people in cell phone deals is in custody Sunday and his missing person file has been closed.
Peel Police believe the man, of no fixed address, was evading arrest after a family member filed a missing persons report last May.
Victims allege the man scammed them by selling cell phones on Kijiji and never delivering the goods.
Goran Drozdek, 31, was located by police and arrested on the strength of an outstanding warrant for fraud over $5,000.
He’ll appear in court Monday.
