Homicide detectives are canvassing a Brampton neighbourhood following the death of two people Wednesday.
Officers responding to an ‘assist citizen’ call around 3 p.m. at a house on Beaconsfield Ave. and Moffatt Ave., near Chinguacousy Rd. and Steeles Ave. W., “found two deceased parties,” said Peel Regional Police Const. Bally Saini.
The coroner and forensics officers remained on scene Wednesday evening; ages and genders of the victims weren’t immediately released.
“It’s fairly early in the investigation,” said Saini, adding the case is an “isolated incident” and there’s no threat to public safety.
Investigators are asking anyone with information to come forward.
