Return those green bins, Peel residents

Those old recycling bins and boxes can now be returned to the Region of Peel starting July 16.
Mississauga, Brampton, and Caledon residents can bring obsolete plastic containers – including green bins and blue or grey boxes – to any of these temporary drop-off events:

MISSISSAUGA

Saturday, July 23:  8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Lakeview Water Treatment Facility
920 East Ave., Mississauga

Saturday, Aug. 6:  8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Iceland Arena
705 Matheson Blvd. East, Mississauga


BRAMPTON

Saturday, July 16:  8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Peel Integrated Waste Management Facility
7795 Torbram Rd., Brampton

Saturday, July 23:  8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Peel Public Works Yard
2 Copper Rd., Brampton


CALEDON

Saturday, July 16:  8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Caledon Community Complex
6215 Old Church Rd.

Saturday, Aug. 13:  8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Peel Curing Facility
4400 King St., Caledon


Click here for detailed information on which bins, boxes and containers will be collected.
Peel residents switched over to bi-weekly, cart-based waste collection last January.
Garbage and recycling are picked up every other week while organics is collected weekly.
