A boy is in hospital with serious injuries after he was struck by a car in west Erin Mills Friday.
Emergency crews were sent to Ridgeway Dr. and Burnhamthorpe Rd. W. at 7:48 a.m., said Peel Police Const. Mark Fischer.
The boy was apparently crossing the street, near Loyola Catholic Secondary School, when he was hit.
The man driving remained at the scene and phoned 911.
Paramedics treated the boy before taking him to Credit Valley Hospital.
He’s being transferred to Sick Kids in Toronto.
