A Burlington man accused of assaulting a mall security guard in Oakville is wanted by Halton Police.
Police say the guard saw the man stealing several items at Oakville Place last October.
A struggle took place when the guard tried arresting him, say police, and the guard was injured. The suspect hasn’t showed up for his court dates.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Travis Arsenault, 20, who’s wanted for theft under $5,000, assault with intent to resist arrest, and four counts of failing to appear.
He’s described as standing 5-foot-8, weighing 140 pounds with red hair and blue-green eyes.
Arsenault is known to frequent Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton and the surrounding areas.
Anyone with information is asked to call 905-825-4747 ext. 2208 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
