Suspect in stolen Mercedes sought in hit-and-run at Skymark-Explorer

Peel Police are asking the public to help identify a suspect in an east Mississauga hit-and-run which sent two construction workers to hospital.

The incident unfolded at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Explorer Dr. and Skymark Ave. when the victims, crossing the road, were struck.

“It was a stolen vehicle. It has been located,” said Const. Mark Fischer.
But police still need the driver.
The vehicle fled the scene and was last seen heading westbound on Eglinton Ave.
The victims, a 62-year-old man and a 25-year-old man, were transported to hospital by paramedics where they were treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The vehicle, a silver 2012 Mercedes, was driven by an Hispanic male with dark hair in a ponytail. He was wearing a blue T-shirt and blue jeans.
