A 57-year-old Brampton man is in custody after a senior died following a stabbing in a Brampton home Wednesday.
“There are no outstanding suspects,” said Peel Police Const. Lori Murphy.
Emergency responders were dispatched to a house on Fleetwood Cres., near Bramalea Rd. and Clark Blvd., at 12:30 p.m. where they found the 82-year-old victim with life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was arrested at the scene.
Paramedics rushed the victim to local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The victim is also from Brampton, however, police aren’t yet confirming it’s a domestic incident involving family members.
“It’s an isolated incident. There’s no concern for public safety,” said Murphy.
