More than 150 jobs are coming to Mississauga via the opening of CIBC Mellon’s new office.
“The majority of Mississauga employees are in permanent full-time roles with a few in temporary contract positions,” said VP of human resources Maple Tam in an emailed statement.

“Our company continues to grow and we are expecting to hire more employees for our Mississauga location.”
Exact figures weren’t provided. Some employees – in roles such as accounting, client service, and operations – are being transferred from downtown Toronto headquarters to 55 Standish Ct., near Hurontario St. and Britannia Rd. E.
“We chose to expand in Mississauga because it is highly accessible, with many great local amenities and a thriving business community,” said senior VP and chief operating officer Richard Anton.
Mississauga Board of Trade president and CEO David Wojcik calls CIBC Mellon an “outstanding employer, and we are pleased to welcome them as they bring hundreds of great jobs to the Mississauga area,” he said.
The company joins the list of the city’s 60 Fortune 500 Canadian headquarters and more than 50,000 businesses.
